Sample Memo Letter | Memo Letter Example

Memo means Memorandum. Memos are generally written to inform the officials about any change, modification, upgradation and/or  introduction of any rules and regulations in an office, to inform the officials about the facilities and benefits of the employees and officials introduced recently, to inform the officials about the promotion, transfer, dismissal of any employee, to inform the officials about any new rules and regulations recently introduced in office, to inform the officials about the details of income and progress of the office and institution, to inform the officials any data and information of the office, leave of office on any special day, and leave of office on any special events and so on. Here are some examples of memos to be followed.

1. Suppose, relief goods have been sent to your locality but these are not distributed properly. Now write a memo to the UNO of your Upazila.

We hope that you will direct the authority concerned to investigate into the matter and ensure proper distribution of the relief goods.

2. Suppose, you are the General Manager of an Industry. Now write a memo requesting your subordinates to attend a farewell meeting of one of the members of your staff.
